The Coronado Beach House (www.coronadobeachhouse.com)

The Coronado Beach House is owned and operated by the Moran family. The Moran family lived in the house from June 1992 through May 1997, but then they moved around the corner to their current 150 Alder Street address. The beach house is now used as a vacation rental to families and extended family out to visit San Diego and it surrounding attractions, including Sea World, The San Diego Zoo, The Wild Animal Park, The Coronado Beach, The Hotel del Coronado, and Tijuana.

There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. In addition, in the master bedroom, there is a makeup counter with sink. And outside there is an additional shower, with hot and cold (for washing off the sand after coming back from the beach). There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave and dish washer. There is a full dining room, full living room (with spectacular views) and full family room (with 46" Sony Bravia HDTV, Sony HD DVD, HD Cable, Stereo, CD, Tape Deck).

The four bedrooms have a king bed, a queen bed, a double bed and a twin bed and another room with two more twin beds. In addition, there is a fold out futon (double) in the family room. There is is a SPA in the back yard, and a two car garage. There is a deck, with propane grill, for evening meals as the sun goes down over Point Loma.

The living room is an ideal place for family members to meet, relax and talk. The much less formal family room with CD, DVD, VHS, Tape Deck, and TV (cable) is where the children usually make their camp.

The Hotel del Coronado can be seen from the living room. This Victorian historic retreat has been visited by royalty, celebrities, and US presidents (over a dozen of them, including President Clinton) for more than 100 years. Thomas Edison threw the first electrical switch here in 1888. This made the hotel the first in the West with electrical lighting. Within "The Del" itself is a wide variety of specialty shops, boutiques, restaurants, and bars.

The City of Coronado is rich in history, natural beauty and a charming ocean village atmosphere. It is most deserving of its royal "nickname" - the Crown City. The uniquely enchanting city which measures only 13.5 square miles, is home to 28 miles of the world's most pristine beaches, 18 public parks, an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, public pool and recreation facilities as well as dedicated bicycle paths.
