Just 200 yards north of the house is Coronado's "Dog Beach"
This is an image of the sign posted at "North Beach" showing where dogs can have access to the beach (the blue area at the top of the sign is supposed to represent the Pacific Ocean). You will notice the circle at the end of the road (Ocean Blvd) at the bottom of the sign. This corresponds to the circle that allows cars to turn around at the end of Ocean Blvd (otherwise you will enter the Naval Air Station).
