In 1996, there was a single story house on the property now occupied by 1033 Ocean
Blvd. and 1035 Ocean Blvd. The owners demolished the house. Then they “split” the
resulting lot into two lots, both of them 40ft by 165ft. On March 31, 1997, the empty lot
1033 Ocean Blvd. sold for $1,092,000.00. Then on December 5, 1997, the empty lot on
1035 Ocean Blvd. sold for $1,190,000.00. The above picture is a photo of the designer
home that was built by the new owners on their piece of real estate at
1033 Ocean Blvd. (Editor's note: www.zillow.com lists this property as 1033 Ocean Blvd, but address shown on the driveway is "1029 Ocean Blvd." I do not know why this is, except perhaps that 1029 Ocean Blvd was the address of the parcel prior to being split.)

Reference: the information regarding the sale prices and the dates that the properties were sold was provided by Shirley Miller,
a realtor in Coronado (Shirley has since retired and moved back east). She obtained the information mostly off the "MLS" (I believe that stands for "Multiple
Listing Service").
